I launched Crafty Kelly Companionship into Plymouth on 29th April at the Isolation Forum run by "Open doors" to highlight services and groups for those suffering from isolation. It was great to meet lots of lovely people at the Sherwell Church hall and network with others in the community.

It's been a busy few weeks here as I prepare to take customers. I now have an understanding of marketing and book-keeping to help me with the venture. All thanks to the lovely Jo from SHE connections. What a wonderful scheme they run supporting women in business. My boxes are packed full of stock ready to take out with me to clients and my leaflets are being slowly distributed. Crafty Kelly Companionship is here and raring to go!

Well we made it through some heat and I'm all set ready for customers. All that's left now is getting enough word out there for people to find me.
What's new for me? I've joined a social group and provide them with diamond dot fun, including being there for any queries they may have, it meets in a public space and there has been no limit to the number of participants but is generally around 7 people.

Not a lot to say at this moment, it's too hot for many people, me included. I am still interested in taking on clients though so do feel free to reach out to me via email - kelyor@hotmail.com,

I've my first larger booking agreed through a local health and wellbeing group for 30+ people, I'm excitedly making up 40 individual kits so everyone will have a project to complete and/or take home to finish. I've even purchased a tabletop vacuum to clean up any mess! So that means so far group bookings are taking over, but my target group remains the isolated and housebound.

Well it's my birthday so it's a more personal update from me this time. I've a couple of friends taking me out for a meal on the Barbican. I'm very much looking forward to it.
